Rosie O’Donnell declared Sandy and Richard “MY105C Montreat Road FAVORITE NEW SINGING SONGWRITING TEAM” on Twitter. Comedy Cabaret Couple Sandy and Richard Riccardi are satirizing every thing within reach of a piano, specializing in progressive parody.
Sandy and Richard Riccardi have been taking on the political world with their patented blend of comedy cabaret and socio-relevant lyrics since their first viral video, “Hockey Mama For Obama” back in the simpler times of 2008. They have continued to entertain over 60 million viewers with hits like “Tiki Torch Nazis,” “The Boy From Mar-a-Lago,” and most recently Sandy was featured on the Roy Zimmerman mega-hit “The Liar Tweets Tonight.” Sandy and Richard are thrilled to be back in one of their favorite venues, the White Horse Black Mountain, to guarantee laughter in the midst of pandemic-monium.

COVID-19 vaccines are our best shot to bring back summer and get everyone safely back to the people, places and activities they love. So, we are launching the Bringing Summer Back initiative, a fun, flexible, community-centered approach to help every organization and individual stop the spread of COVID-19 by urging friends and neighbors to get vaccinated.

It has been a decade-long dream for our local fiber advocacy group to independently steward our own space and now it’s happening! Join us on Saturday, June 12th from 10 am – 5pm for a day of celebration. There will have make and takes, demos, music and snacks. We invite you to stop in and reintroduce yourself.
Our new community-centered space will feature products from throughout our Blue Ridge Mountains fibershed (100 mile radius around Asheville) and bring attention to the rich offerings of our region’s designers, farmers, artists and makers. The new Local Cloth space will feature a classroom, studios, dye lab, and exhibit and retail space showcasing locally sourced items, to serve fiber artists, students, enthusiasts and the general public.
In addition to the new space, we recently launched an online marketplace, Shop Local Cloth, to support our mission to bring climate-benefitting fiber to our regions closets, gardens, and studios. We plan to expand our marketplace, with a dynamic store front in our new space, where members and passers by alike can see what our regional fiber community has to offer.

GILBERT LAWAND is a Brooklyn based comedian by way of Atlanta. You can see him performing all over the New York City area at some of the best shows such as Night Train, the Knitting Factory, and Bar Matchless as well as comedy clubs like Caroline’s, Gotham, New York Comedy Club, and the Creek and the Cave. He also produces the annual Red Clay Comedy Festival which takes place in Atlanta every September. Gilbert has performed in several festivals including Bridgetown, High Plains, and the Laughing Skull Festival where he was a finalist in 2015. He’s a frequent opener for Rory Scovel and has also opened for Dave Chappelle.

OUTDOOR SHOW
Join us on Tuesday nights for Magnetic’s signature variety show. There will be an exciting mix of comedy, music, theatre, dance, magic and more! Smoky Park Supper Club is offering us their beautiful outdoor venue, and will be selling food and drinks. The event is BYOC (bring your own chair), and we will, of course, be following strict Covid safety protocols. We can’t wait to see you there!
Join us Tuesday nights, beginning April 13th, as The Magnetic Theatre teams up with the wizards at Smoky Park Supper Club to host a live, outdoor variety show. We’ll be filling Smoky Park’s gorgeous, riverside outdoor space with comedy, theatre, music and so much more.
There will be food and beverages available for purchase.
- This is a BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Chair) event.
- In accordance with safety guidelines this show will be staged outdoors, with mask and social distancing protocols enforced. There will also be temperature checks and COVID waivers that need to be signed by each attendee at the gate.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the 7pm showtime.
- We do require that masks be worn at all times unless you are actively eating or drinking.

Cancer patients may need blood products during chemotherapy, surgery or treatment for complications. More than 1.7 million new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed in the U.S. this year, according to the American Cancer
Society. Donated blood is a lifesaving gift most healthy people can give. The community is encouraged to donate blood with the American Red Cross to help those with cancer and many
others who need blood. Support cancer patients by donating blood at any of these donation opportunities
during the month of June.

Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh
at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High
school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height
and weight requirements.

Patti Conklin is a vibrational mediator, teacher, lecturer, radio personality, host of the TV show Healing Within: An Adventure Inside on Binge Networks and author of the book God Within: The Day God’s Train Stopped. In addition to facilitating health of mind and body, she extends her understanding of energy medicine as a keynote speaker with warmth and humor, empowering listeners to take control of their health through a deeper understanding of their own thoughts and behaviors. Patti has traveled the world, practicing her distinctive style of energy medicine in over 60 countries!
The work Patti does is unique in that it often involves collaboration with Western medicine physicians. While Patti believes that all physical illness stems from an emotional core, she still strongly believes that the body needs Western and Eastern methodologies in addition to spiritual awareness in order to reverse illness or come to terms with past experiences or trauma through love, acceptance, compassion, and humor. Clearing the lifetime of emotion from the body most often returns the body to homeostasis.
In the 26 years that she has been working as a vibrational mediator, Patti has been featured in several well-received books, including Soul Agreements by Dick Sutphen and Radical Remissions by Dr. Kelly Turner. She was honored with The Founder’s Award from the Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association in 2007, The President’s Award in 2004 from the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, and inducted into the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame in 1996. Donating blood saves lives. Sign up for the American Red Cross Blood Donation Drive at Asheville Outlets from on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Suite 348 across from RH Outlet. Donors are asked to register in advance by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/give and entering the sponsor code AshevilleOutlets. All Blood Donations are tested for COVID-19 Antibody. Blood donation organizers will practice social distancing procedures and advanced safety protocols. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that the coronavirus (COVID-19) does not pose any known risk to blood donors during the donation process or from attending blood drives, and that it is safe to donate blood.
