Sunday, February 14th, we will be celebrating Mardi Gras at our Asheville taproom. Festivities will include live music by The Legendary House Band from 1-4pm, a full Mardi Gras inspired kitchen menu, and king cake donuts. Find the Mardi Gras sticker on your king cake tin and win a Burial gift card! Special beer releases to be announced soon as well, stay tuned.

The Labyrinth of Love walk in Carrier Park on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. will focus on receiving the loving gifts of the labyrinth, then sending them into the world (our fellow walkers and friends and neighbors, our communities, and everyone we do not yet know around the globe). It is a processional labyrinth with separate entrance and exit to ensure safe distancing (masks required) while still creating the camaraderie of a community walk. Bring a heart (paper, stone, something you created) or a gift of the heart for those in need (canned goods, a book, a donation) that Jubilee can distribute; these will be left at the altar in the center. The labyrinth walk is limited to the first 50 people who RSVP.

The 24 professional voices of the Herring Chamber Ensemble, joined by our professional chamber orchestra, perform the monumental Bach “B-minor Mass.” Bach’s greatest work, assembled near the end of his life and even though Bach never heard it himself, has been the benchmark for choral-orchestral music since 1750. This intimate performance in Daniel Chapel at Furman will be a memorable and lasting experience for all.
ASAP’s annual Business of Farming Conference, held virtually in 2021, brings together professional and aspiring farmers from across the Southeast to network and share resources to build viable farm businesses. Farmers will learn about marketing, business planning, branding, and management from regional experts and innovative peers. Within the virtual format, attendees will have the opportunity to meet, connect, and form supportive relationships. The popular Grower-Buyer Meeting, a chance for farmers to meet directly with grocers, distributors, and chefs to discuss sourcing, will return in virtual form as well. The conference is designed for beginning and established farmers as well as those seriously considering farming as a profession. Find out more at asapconnections.org/events/business-of-farming-conference.
