The AIR Passport is your buy-one-get-one (BOGO)* ticket to some of Buncombe County’s highly acclaimed independent restaurants. Visit an old favorite or try a new member of the area’s vibrant independent restaurant community. AIR Passports make great gifts, but they go fast.
The AIR Passport offers BOGO from 60 area eateries with discounts up to $15 per participating restaurants. All proceeds from the AIR Passport go to benefit the ongoing efforts of AIR to keep Asheville’s food scene eclectic and authentic.
“It is one of our largest fundraisers of the year,” Anderson said. “We are able to use these funds throughout the year for educational classes, events and other opportunities for our members and their staff.”

Carolina Ballet Theatre proudly presents The Nutcracker: Once Upon A Time in Greenville– a European inspired production that brings all of Clara’s adventures and excitement home to Greenville. Continuing our reinvented holiday classic, the production highlights Victorian societal expectations and prosperity while Clara and her beloved Nutcracker dance their way through the cherished landmarks and stunning scenery of Greenville and into the hearts of the audience.
The libretto is adapted from E.T. A. Hoffmann’s classic story, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. Choreographed by Herman Justo, the refreshed ballet is based on the original Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov ballet.

AmiciMusic presents a special FOUR-HAND HOLIDAY program featuring pianists Alex Watson and Daniel Weiser performing holiday favorites together on a single piano. Watch the ballet of four hands and twenty fingers up close with their special Keyboard Camera. The program will feature a fantastic arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite” as well as Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Bells”, Aaron Copland’s “Tis a Gift to be Simple”, Johann Strauss’ “Blue Danube Waltz” as well as some great renditions of favorite Carols such as “Deck the Halls,” “Away in a Manger”, and “Go Tell it on the Mountain.”

The Reel Sisters are a duo steeped in the musical tradition of Scottish harp and smallpipes. Piper Rosalind Buda and harpist Kelly Brzozowski share lifetimes of experience in the traditional music community and the technical expertise of classical training. The Reel Sisters’ music is uplifting, stirring, and just sweet fun. While the “Sisters” have been asked many times if they truly are sisters, the answer is technically no. The music is what binds them together and connects them deeply to their audiences. Come and get in the spirit with The Reel Sisters!

Our free Jazz Hour is back for the fall season! Please join us in our auditorium to listen to an hour of jazz from Steinway pianist and composer Michael Jefry Stevens and his musician friends. Each performance is different and will take place on the third Monday evenings of each month. Everyone is welcome.
Lindsey Stirling remains fearless enough to always dream big. Since the release of her 2012 self-titled debut, the electronic music impresario, violinist, dancer, and artist quietly and humbly became one of the 21st century’s most innovative stars by clinging to her groundbreaking vision of cinematic violin-driven electronic music.
Her sophomore opus, Shatter Me, held #1 on the Classical Album Chart for 21 consecutive weeks, ranked as the #2 Dance/Electronic Album and the #1 Classical Album on Billboard’s 2015 Year-End charts, and won a Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Album. Her third studio album, Brave Enough, scored the #1 spot on Billboard’s year-end Top Dance/Electronic Album list and earned Stirling a 2017 Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Album.
In 2017, she released her first holiday album, Warmer in the Winter. Featuring classic and original songs, the album went on to become the #1 new Christmas album of 2017, ahead of pop music heavyweights such as Gwen Stefani and Sia.
