We are a YouTube channel that has done this every year since 2021 in Richmond, Virginia, but we asked our audience what area needed some good vibes and cheer this year and Asheville was the winner! We bought thousands of toys and we are giving them away to families/kids (geared towards ages 10 and under) in need! Raffle tickets will also be given to everyone in attendance to be entered to win prizes. Also, get a picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Event is on 12/20/2025 from 11-4pm (while supplies last). Feel free to line up before 11am.

Cuddle under a warm blanket and enjoy a festive Main Street carriage ride with Carolina Horse & Carriage. This wonderful holiday experience is set amidst the twinkling lights and Christmas decorations of downtown Hendersonville.
Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children (free for children under 2). Advance reservations are strongly encouraged by contacting Carolina Horse & Carriage. Walk-ups are accepted only if space is available. Starting point is the Historic Henderson County Courthouse on Main Street.
A newer tradition during Hendersonville’s Home for the Holidays is a fun evening of train rides with Mountain Fresh Orchards. These Main Street mini-train rides pick up and drop off at the square of the Historic Henderson County Courthouse.
In addition to the rides, the evening’s festivities include holiday craft vendors, educational displays, face painting and a pop-up market with fresh baked goods and treats from Mountain Fresh Orchards. Snap photos with holiday llamas from Ellaberry Llama Farm.

A family-friendly celebration to ring in 2026. Hendersonville pays homage to its status as North Carolina’s Apple Capital by raising a giant apple on the plaza of the Historic Courthouse.
The free event features New Year’s Eve swag giveaways, a DJ dance party, hot cocoa, games and craft vendors. All leading up to the apple rise countdown at 7 p.m. Perfect for families with young children or those who wish to enjoy an early, alcohol-free celebration.
New Year’s Eve party starts at 7:30 pm with 3WB playing and will end after midnight with house music. 3WB is a multi piece band with a horn section. One of the NC’s most entertaining and unique bands. 3WB mixes a tight rhythm section, soulful horn arrangements, vocal harmonies, artistic solos to entertain you, playing a mix of Rock and Roll, Blues, Funk, and Soul.
