Join author and seed farmer Bevin Cohen for this fun and informative free virtual workshop! Cohen will explain the importance of saving our garden seeds, sharing their stories, and giving the gift of seed to others. Learn the basics of this traditional skill and start saving seeds from your own gardens! Bring your seed saving questions and have them answered during the Q&A session after Bevin’s presentation!

Bevin Cohen is an author, herbalist, gardener, seed saver, and educator. He’s the owner of Small House Farm and the founder of Michigan Seed Library, a community seed-sharing initiative that has worked to establish more than 90 seed library programs! He offers workshops and lectures nationwide on the benefits of living closer to the land through seeds, herbs and locally-grown food. Bevin is a freelance writer and videographer whose work has appeared in numerous publications including Mother Earth News, Hobby Farms, Grit Magazine, and the Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company catalog. Each tree, uniquely decorated around the theme: A Black Mountain Christmas, will be created by businesses, organizations, or individuals to help raise funds for the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry Fuel Fund.
