Beyond Sales Funnels: How to Automate Customer Relationships to Drive Sales

In this presentation we’ll be taking those ideas and skills taught in Casey’s Digital Strategies workshop and covering how to easily create long lasting customer relationships by building a sales funnel that nurtures and makes sales on autopilot.
A sales funnel is a step-by-step process that brings potential customers to your product or services, through a series of marketing actions like automated emails, videos, articles and landing pages, and converts them into actual paying customers. Sales Funnels help you pick a marketing strategy, grow your sales, help you know how to relate to your customer, give you an edge over your competition and improve on ways to grow your business.
Come learn the basics of all sales funnels, and then learn how to automate them so you spend LESS time cultivating your customers, but have more sales! This is sure to be a fun and interactive workshop helping you grow your sales without being “salesy.”
Adventures in Stage Design

Supplies Needed: An internet connection. This class will use household art supplies such as paper, pencil, pens, magazines, scissors, etc.
Get moving in this fun, high-energy dance class focusing on Broadway-style choreography through the decades. Each live zoom class features a full-body warm up, a step-by-step breakdown of theatre dance vocabulary, and Broadway-style choreography to learn and perfect throughout the semester. Join Studio 52 to get a weekly workout, learn how to fill your movement with character, and step into your next dance audition or production feeling confident!

Plein Air Painting Tips
Don Osterberg has illustrated some of his advice on plein air painting with step-by-step stages of his pastel “Looking Glass Falls in Pisgah Forest.”
The watermedia and mixed media paintings, drawings, and monotype prints of Costanza Knight, also known as Connie Knight, are contemporary expressions that explore and celebrate the human form and the landscape. Poetry and narratives are often her creative touchstone, but she also takes inspiration from the landscapes she loves. Her diverse interests are evident in her varied styles.

Acrylic Painter, Diane Dean teaches her technique for creating heavily textured acrylic paintings using heavy gesso for surface texture, fluid and heavy body acrylics, brushes and palette knives.
Pat has been teaching workshops for over 20 years and has received several local and regional awards and has had solo shows as well as Kindred Spirit exhibits with her friend and colleague Janet Campbell. She is a signature member of the North East Watercolor Society, Audubon Artists, Inc. and a former elected member of the New Jersey Water Color Society and the Salmagundi Club in NYC.

Supporting Local Schools
Half of your purchase price of the 2021 Go Local Card will go to a public school to enhance programming, purchase much-needed teacher supplies and support local kids.
Each year, as we add more businesses and cardholders to the program, the local movement grows stronger.

No matter how thorough and fair a reappraisal may be, there are still instances when only the property owner has all the information necessary for an accurate appraisal. Informal appeals for the tax year 2021 can be filed anytime between Jan. 1-April 28, 2021. Additionally, anyone receiving a change of value notice after April 1, 2021 has thirty days from that notice date to file an appeal.
Whether you’re looking to further your passion or you’re curious about the performing arts, Studio 52’s Spring Mini-Mester is a great way to dive into theatre! Virtual Theatre Classes are open to artists ages 5 through Adult with options in acting, Broadway dance, spoken-word poetry, on-camera technique, theatrical design, and directing.
Tuition ranges from $60-70 making this mini-mester affordable and educational. Classes begin the week of April 12 and run through the week of May 6.
Dave Hart Scholarship
Applications Due March 29
The Dave Hart Scholarship Fund was created in memory of Studio 52’s friend, artist, and educator Dave Hart. Dave believed that all students, no matter their background or resources, benefit from participating in theatre.
Scholarships are available for every tuition-based program at Studio 52. Applications for Spring Mini-Mester scholarships are due March 29. Applicants will be notified by April 1, of their award status.

Traveling Trunks and Kits are an economical way to bring the Museum to YOU! Rental fee is a refundable deposit of $15 per trunk. Trunks include many artifacts and a week of lessons.
Trunk deposits are always refundable, but if you choose to donate your deposit, these funds are used to assist students with economic needs to be able to come on field trips or to Living History Days.

Another way to bring the Museum to YOU is with an In-School Presentation!
A trained museum volunteer or staff person will present any of the above topics in your school. Programs may be presented to as many as 50 students per presentation (some are more hands-on and 25 students would be more appropriate).
Cost is $3 per student.
Choose a program, traveling trunk/kit, or suggest a custom program. Craft topics may include an extra supply fee.

Successfully grow and harvest tasty blueberries in your own home garden. Area Extension Specialized Agent Craig Mauney will share practices on getting blueberries established and growing well, how to prune, pest problems and which are the best varieties for our area. ZOOM class.
Spend your afternoons creating in the bright and spacious studio at the Museum! Explore a range of artistic processes using artwork on view from the Museum’s Collection and special exhibitions for inspiration. Space is limited to small groups of up to eight students; face coverings and social distancing are required. Generous support for this program is provided by Walnut Cove Member Association. “Getting to know you…” Meaningfully connect and collaborate with young artists from across the country in this virtual musical theatre class featuring Broadway songs about friendship! In high-energy zoom classes combining singing, acting, and movement, students will hone their theatrical skills while developing a virtual musical revue shared with friends and family at the end of the semester.
Push your imagination to the limits as you collaborate with artists from across the country to devise original, virtual theatrical performance art. With inspiring, out-of-the-box artistic challenges, this class encourages artists of all kinds to use their voices and talents in new and unexpected ways. Whether you’re an actor, writer, dancer, comic, storyteller, artist, musician, or editor, this class led by improviser and actor TJ Simba-Medel will encourage you to create art from anywhere!

Join us as Dr. Ben Steere of Western Carolina University presents research from his forthcoming book The Fire Yet Burns in These Great Mounds: Archaeology and Resilience in the Cherokee Heartland. Dr. Steere’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
Dr. Steere says of his work: Mound and village sites like Kituwah, Nikwasi, and Cowee are prominent places in the Cherokee heartland of western North Carolina. Despite a history of encroaching development and site destruction, these resilient places serve as sacred and enduring monuments to Cherokee communities. Drawing on recent scholarship from archaeology, indigenous studies, and Cherokee cultural experts, I argue that Cherokee mounds and towns are not only sites of historical importance, but are also integral, living parts of the cultural landscape of the Southern Appalachian mountains.
Our speaker is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Western Carolina University, where he teaches courses in anthropology and archaeology and directs the Cherokee Studies program. His primary areas of interest for research and teaching include Southeastern archaeology, Cherokee archaeology, household archaeology, indigenous archaeology, and regional settlement pattern studies. He has worked on collaborative archaeological research and preservation projects with the Tribal Historic Preservation Office of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians since 2011.
Asheville’s YMI Cultural Center and Buncombe County Public Libraries are partnering to create a book club focusing on modern Black authors, readers, and stories. This month we will be reading BELOVED by Toni Morrison. We will meet twice per month on 2nd & 4th Thursday at 6:30 pm via Zoom and limited in-person gatherings at the YMI Cultural Center Suite A.
To maximize safety, meetings will be held in a hybrid in-person and online format during the COVID-19 pandemic. Anyone interested may join the meeting via Zoom or meet in person at the YMI Impact Center, 39 S. Market St., Suite A, Asheville, NC 28801. In-person meetings will be capped at 10 participants in order to observe social distancing.
