Seed starting is an affordable way to start gardens for different seasons. Isaac Wyatt, Agricultural Program Assistant with Henderson County Extension, will teach the basics of seed starting.

The first Friday of each month Manna Food Bank and other service providers will be at Fairview Public Library, 1 Taylor Rd.

Rising grocery prices, along with rising housing, gas, and other costs are putting the pressure on Buncombe households. For many in our community, no-cost healthy meals and information about County and partner services and resources are a valuable lifeline.

Buncombe County’s Community Engagement Markets offer free food, medical services, and information about mortgage, rental, and weatherization assistance, as well other resources directly to those most in need by meeting them in their neighborhoods.

Come and enjoy a few hours getting your hands dirty in the lovely Leicester Library Giving Garden.

The Leicester Library Giving Garden aims to connect and strengthen our community through growing and sharing food. The food grown in the Leicester Giving Garden is given to the community for free, so the work you do in the garden directly supports your neighbors in Leicester.

These workdays are an opportunity to volunteer in the garden, learn more about how to get involved, and about gardening in general. Open to all regardless of experience!

Join us for a beautiful sound healing concert inside the Salt Cave. The concert will be performed by Billy From @Skinny Beats Sound Shop. Come enjoy the sounds of the handpan, gong, crystal bowls as well as many other various instruments. The music will vibrate through the walls of the salt cave and reach to the deepest part of your soul. These two treatments combined create wonderful space for deep healing.

Jack’s Bluegrass Brunch kicks off every Sunday at 12 noon — with lively bluegrass tunes courtesy of The Jack of the Wood Bluegrass Brunch Boys from 1-3pm.
