Law of Attraction (LOA) is a powerful guideline that can be utilized within our lives, and impacts ourselves as well as the collective consciousness. Let’s discuss practical, everyday ways we use and apply these tools in 2020! This session’s discussion will be, “Visualization exercises in LOA.” No advance prep, reading or knowledge required. Come with an open mind and heart, free of judgement, and let’s learn together! This is an inclusive, informal, interactive discussion for people will all levels of LOA understanding.

Some other topics we will cover in future discussions include:
– How to utilize LOA to manifest best case scenarios
– Gratitude practices as a tool in manifestation
– Honoring your own feelings, emotions and well being (and others) as a form of self care while manifesting
– Staying grounded, avoiding toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing when manifesting
– Visualization exercises in LOA
– Manifesting on specific themes (love, money, good health, etc.)

Discussions will be held by Kathryn Brahaney, myself. I’ve utilized Law of Attraction in having a significantly better recovery than anticipated from two major car accidents, in receiving a job offer that allowed me to relocate to Asheville, NC (where I live now) and in finding my favorite apartment to date in a city I wasn’t sure would be in my budget. I started these discussions to share my experience using Law of Attraction and to provide opportunities to learn more that are accessible and affordable. Looking forward to sharing more with you all and chatting about how we can use LOA in navigating the rest of 2020 and beyond!

We live in a winner-take-all society. And yet, part of our potential as humans is our potential for compassion and our resilience in the face of adversity. While doing research for her play Let Me Down Easy, award-winning playwright/actor/educator Anna Deavere Smith interviewed people in the U.S. and abroad who demonstrated grace in the face of dramatic challenges. This storytelling speech celebrates the resilience of the human spirit, the power of empathy, the strength of imagination, and hope.
**The film adaption of Smith’s play Twilight: Los Angeles is available to view as a complimentary companion piece to Smith’s appearance with the performing arts series.

The Labyrinth of Love walk in Carrier Park on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. will focus on receiving the loving gifts of the labyrinth, then sending them into the world (our fellow walkers and friends and neighbors, our communities, and everyone we do not yet know around the globe). It is a processional labyrinth with separate entrance and exit to ensure safe distancing (masks required) while still creating the camaraderie of a community walk. Bring a heart (paper, stone, something you created) or a gift of the heart for those in need (canned goods, a book, a donation) that Jubilee can distribute; these will be left at the altar in the center. The labyrinth walk is limited to the first 50 people who RSVP.

When we learn to embrace our insecurities and imperfections, we can live more joyfully.

Chude is on an ambitious mission to transform Sub-Saharan Africa into a (mental, emotional, spiritual) safe, warm space. He is founder of Joy Inc. which supports co-working spaces and walk-in centres for young people dealing with mental health challenges. Chude Jideonwo is an inspiring Nigerian lawyer, journalist and media entrepreneur. He is the founder of Joy, Inc., a human flourishing company which aims to help people become happier, and build safe, warm spaces across business, government and culture. Chude has extensive experience in media and previously led African media group, RED | For Africa, working on national elections and social movements in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Liberia. He is a co-founder of The Future Project, focused on inspiring leadership, building entrepreneurs, and using the media as a tool for social change. He is a Forbes 30 under 30 honouree, an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow, and a World Fellow at Yale University. Known as Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet company, BalletX commissions choreographers from around the world to create new ballets that are “fresh, inclusive, and connect to what people want” (Philadelphia Citizen). Led by Artistic & Executive Director Christine Cox, BalletX has produced nearly 100 world premiere ballets by more than 50 choreographers, and performed for over 100,000 audience members at home and on tour, including appearances at such prestigious venues as the Kennedy Center, Vail Dance Festival, Joyce Theater, and Jacob’s Pillow.

The Grammy winners from Asheville, NC come to Boone for a live concert streamed from the stage of the Schaefer Center into your homes. Frequent collaborators with banjoist (and comedian) Steve Martin, Steep Canyon Rangers are major players in the bluegrass/country and Americana scene today, with comparisons to The Band, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Zac Brown Band. Join us this month… on the 1st dark moon of the month… a powerful time of dissolving and rebirthing! This is a night retreat of releasing… and getting ready to rebirth into the New MOON coming up!
Every month, there is a portal opening of the Lunar Gateway… in which the UNIVERSE offers us an opportunity, the few days just before the NEW MOON… it is a time of rebirth and renewal… but also a time of death. We have have an opportunity to let go… to release consciously what no longer serves us. In our society, we have lost our connection with the transformational alchemical powers of the Great Mother… and many times we fear death and darkness. Yet in the darkness is really where all possibilities are born from… and we cannot birth something into existence… until we have made room by releasing and dying to the old.
During this night… we will focus on releasing, dissolving and rebirthing during the Dark MOON lunar evening as we prepare for the new creation on the New Moon. During this portal we have the opportunity to purify our being… our minds… our emotions, our heart and our soul…. letting go and releasing the veils that stand between direct experience with the Divine and allow us to consciously re-pattern our selves.
During this Lunar Medicine Retreat, we will focus on the monthly theme of the New Moon astrological sign and the wisdom it is bringing in for us to embody. Naturally, we will also have an opportunity to clear conditioning, emotions and wounding of the past. For some, it is also an opportunity to clear the Ancestral and personal wounding that we, as women have inherited. This wounding has been passed on unconsciously through generations of women that have come before us… and at this time of the Golden age, we are here to consciously heal these wounds and step into our Sovereignty and Sacred Power. This is something that our ancestors have known for many lives… and we have unconsciously come to incarnate at this time, when it is possible to awaken to the magnificence power of our divinity.

We will meet in the evening of the dark moon, days will vary… depending on when the New Moon is occurring . We will meet at 8:00pm and dive into a sacred embodied experience of the Lunar Gateway. Through sacred invocation, intentions, direct transmission, chants and transformational healing we will clear the old and make space for the new… as we recalibrate our rhythm to cycle with the moon!
