In honor of our 125th year, we’re giving back to our incredible nonprofits. The thirteen nonprofits that each received $10,000 at our 125^th Anniversary Celebration last September will return to share how they’ve used the funds and to seek your vote for an additional $5,000 grant. We’ll have a live voting platform so you can cast your vote and help decide who gets additional funding.

• Get all your gardening questions answered by NC State Extension Master Gardeners.
  Your questions can be answered via the phone, email, or a visit to the extension center. You can also pick up your free soil testing kit from the extension center.

Learn how to set up an organic indigo vat using a few simple ingredients and witness the magical creation of blue as the fiber comes out of the vat. Portions of this program may be held outside; please dress appropriately for the weather.

• *     Bring a little something to help others remember you and your business (something visual yet simple, AND your business card).
• *     Stay “portable” — you’ll be moving from table to table throughout the morning.
• *     If you’re a newcomer to this event, arrive a little early so you can settle in comfortably at your first table and learn the flow of the event without being rushed.
• *     Schedule time now on your calendar to follow up soon with those you meet.
