Full Moon Farm is an organization dedicated to the well being of the wolfdog (wolf hybrid). Situated on 17 beautiful mountain acres in Black Mountain, NC, we operate as a federally recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization for abused and refused wolfdogs who find themselves in need of love, shelter, and care through no fault of their own.
Full Moon Farm provides a safe haven for animals that cannot be placed into homes for the rest of their lives. Our rescued wolfdogs come from animal control agencies, closed breeding situations and occasionally, an owner in crisis. We evaluate each animal upon intake and work with them at their level of comfort.
Some animals are “hands off” and we respect their choice, as well as that of the animals that crave human interaction. Our goal is to enrich the lives of the residents, allowing them to reach their highest potential. Your support by donation or sponsorship makes our task possible.
Though they may be abused or neglected, homeless because of death or divorce, they are all God’s Creatures and worthy of a lifetime of respect. We are here to serve them.

An avid performer and educator, Baltimore pianist Joshua Espinoza balances his time sharing music on the stage and off. As a performer, Espinoza has played with renowned artists including Warren Wolf, Paul Bollenback, Miho Hazama, Alex Norris, John D’earth, Mike Pope, Kris Funn, Brian Settles, Todd Marcus, Chuck Redd, Ryan McGillicudy, Eugene Goss, and Gail Wynters, and on national stages including the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, The Kennedy Center, the Barns at Wolftrap, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Keystone Korner Baltimore. With a style that is tastefully modern yet firmly rooted in the jazz tradition, Espinoza blends and bends genres into original compositions and arrangements that are immediately relatable, yet hard to define.

Each summer, Espinoza serves on the piano faculty at the Interlochen Arts Camp in Interlochen, MI and was previously on the faculties of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Franklin College (IN), and Morehead State University (KY). The purpose of Coffee and Conversation is to have productive talk and dialogue that build communities, foster ideas of growth, solidarity, and networking. In essence, no matter what we do in our daily living, our mission with “Enjoy Your Life”, is to promote others through positive action and empowerment. There are mothers out there who need our support. As we meet during regular coffee and conversation meetings, we want to continue bringing our communities together by giving back. During this event, we want to encourage each of you to join us by donating towards the Maternal Giving Back Initiative. On the last Saturday of the month, we will conclude with packaging all essential items. Our primary goal is to assemble five baby baskets a month. Afterwards, will then deliver each basket to local hospitals for mothers in need.
Maternal giving back initiative
We understand there is serious need for mothers who exit the hospital with newborn babies. Our approach is to ensure that these mothers have a few basics essentials as they depart the hospital and settle in. Our goal is not to spend an exorbitant amount of money. However, we want to provide practical things that are thoughtful and meaningful. We think a heartfelt survivor kit would be awesome.
Some Examples are:
• Baby Books
• Travel diapers bags with changing pads
• Pacifier
• Nursing cover
• Receiving blanket
• Bibs
• Bottles and nipples
• Milk storage Bag
• Bottle warmer
• Bottle brush
• Wipes
• Diapers
• Swaddle blanket
• One piece of outfit
• Pajamas
• wicker basket to place items
