FIRST SET BY THE HOUSE BAND & SECOND SET IS A JAZZ JAM

In conjunction with Sunday Sessions Live (and virtual) music: Food Truck Sundays will bring a new or rotating “staff favorite” cuisine each week to the Beechams Curve offerings.
Gan Shan West, our main culinary provider 6 days a week, is closed on Sundays. Enjoy the convenience, delicious variety and the music – all in one Sunday Funday stop!

We are going to have a little OUTDOOR covid-safe fun. There will be curated cocktails and, yes, FOOD!! The owner, herself, will be cooking up a few brunch favorites. And the best part of all? We have devised a way to have a pandemic-friendly karaoke! We hope to see all your faces but please stay home if you don’t feel safe being around others.

Come join us for a rich, topical discussion on the first Tuesday of the month. We come together to share perspectives and insights on subjects of interest in a welcoming and civil forum. We usually feature a TED Talk or YOUtube video for 15 minutes or so, followed by some questions for everyone to discuss. Topics are chosen by members and have ranged from mindfulness to addiction and everything in between. Feel free to eat your dinner or slurp your drink during the meeting–we’ll remind you to mute. For now, while we are taking COVID-19 precautions, our meetings will be online via ZOOM. Free to the public.
Past THINK AND DRINK TOPICS are varied and have been on:
Mindfulness- by Gaillee
Clothes-Do they Matter- by Jason
Working with Millennials – by Karen Eve
What we’re about
Think & Drink…Enjoy tea, coffee, libations and snacks with other people interested in exploring and discussing the challenges, opportunities, and issues of the 21st century on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm. It’s for anyone who is curious or just trying to maneuver life positively, holistically, and constructively. Our open meetings will be fun and include social time for conversation followed by relevant topics and respectful discussions. Topics may be presented by members via TED talks, You Tubes, films or other media, and be facilitated and open for discussion afterwards. We are open to all genders, races, interests, and ages. Bring your well-behaved kids . Bring ideas and open minds to engage, and intersect with others. The group members will determine topics and style as Think & Drink evolves.
Think & Drink should be a community group that is…
• Open and inclusive
• Welcoming & Safe
• Fun & Happy
• Participatory
• Respectful & Non-judgmental
• Confidential
• Productive
• Valuable
Eat, drink from 5 to 5:30 or so, then Think about our Topic and Discuss. Our one request is that all of those in the discussion remain respectful of one another. Think & Drink is a judgement-free zone, which doesn’t mean you have to agree with anyone here, but that you remain respectful of where every person is on their journey in life and to have FUN!

Law of Attraction (LOA) is a powerful guideline that can be utilized within our lives, and impacts ourselves as well as the collective consciousness. Let’s discuss practical, everyday ways we use and apply these tools in 2020! This session’s discussion will be, “Visualization exercises in LOA.” No advance prep, reading or knowledge required. Come with an open mind and heart, free of judgement, and let’s learn together! This is an inclusive, informal, interactive discussion for people will all levels of LOA understanding.
Some other topics we will cover in future discussions include:
– How to utilize LOA to manifest best case scenarios
– Gratitude practices as a tool in manifestation
– Honoring your own feelings, emotions and well being (and others) as a form of self care while manifesting
– Staying grounded, avoiding toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing when manifesting
– Visualization exercises in LOA
– Manifesting on specific themes (love, money, good health, etc.)
Discussions will be held by Kathryn Brahaney, myself. I’ve utilized Law of Attraction in having a significantly better recovery than anticipated from two major car accidents, in receiving a job offer that allowed me to relocate to Asheville, NC (where I live now) and in finding my favorite apartment to date in a city I wasn’t sure would be in my budget. I started these discussions to share my experience using Law of Attraction and to provide opportunities to learn more that are accessible and affordable. Looking forward to sharing more with you all and chatting about how we can use LOA in navigating the rest of 2020 and beyond!

Check out Jack’s Bluegrass Jam hosted by the Drew Matulich and his band of talented Bluegrass players every Thursday @ 7pm. Lively pluckin’ and cold pints to roll into the weekend! Sláinte!
There’s a new force making major waves in country music, Muscadine Bloodline. Proud natives of Mobile Alabama, Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster started Muscadine Bloodline in early 2016. From the first time they took stage, Nashville started talking… so now, with two Billboard charting critically acclaimed EP’s under their belt, it’s no surprise the rest of the music world is quickly catching on. The duo’s reputation for high-energy live experiences has resulted in a schedule full of shows spanning from coast to coast. Charlie’s contemporary vocals complimented by Gary’s harmonies and masterful guitar licks make MB a powerfully refreshing mix of talent, passion and unfiltered authenticity. Infamously undaunted by the big stage, their sound intertwines the brash irreverence of early southern rockers with the seductive quality of 90s country love songs. Captivating hooks heard in songs like “Movin’ On” and the aggressively anthemic “WD-40” stand as a testament to MB’s wide ranging music-making capability. Every song and every show is a moving experience but at the same time, unmistakably Muscadine Bloodline.

The Page Brothers with members of the Hot Club of Asheville and One Leg Up present a tribute to the great Django Reinhardt.
Born on this date 111 years ago, jazz pioneer Django Reinhardt is widely recognized as one of the world’s greatest guitarists. Django combined his love of early American jazz with elements from his Romani heritage to create an intoxicating style known as jazz manouche. Tonight’s program will feature his most celebrated compositions, collaborations with violinist Stephane Grappelli, as well as bebop and modern jazz tunes done in Django’s inimitable style.
The group performing on January 23rd is modeled after Reinhardt’s classic “Quintette du Hot Club De France”: three guitars, violin and acoustic bass. Twin brothers Andy and Zack Page will be joined by Steve Karla from The Hot Club of Asheville and Jim Tanner and Steve Trismen from long-running Asheville group, One Leg Up.
Come enjoy an evening of live music, food and drinks at the Isis Music Hall. Reservations are highly recommended.
