This class is perfect for beginners or experienced crafters! Instruction covers learning about air plants, care tips, design principles, and more. We include everything needed to create your terrarium, from the container and plants to fun additions like shells, driftwood, gemstones and crystals, figurines, and more. A gift box and care instructions are included to ensure your success. Comedy heavyweight Mike Epps brings “The Fabulously Funny Comedy Festival” to Bon Secours Wellness Arena on May 2. Epps will lead the show with an all-star lineup including Sommore, Gary Owen, Lavell Crawford and Kountry Wayne. The veteran entertainers will bring down the house with their sharp wit, unbridled humor and hysterical storytelling for a comedy show fans won’t want to miss!

Homeward Bound has been using the housing first model since 2006 to move people out of homelessness. Since then, Homeward Bound has housed over 2,230 individuals with an 89% retention rate.

The program will include updates from Executive Director Meredith Switzer, a film by Emmy award-winning filmmaker Katie Damien, a performance by spoken word poet Nonnie Egbuna, a song by local artist and Jubilee! World Beat Band member Paula Hanke, and more.

A night of stand up comedy at The Magnetic Theatre!

Aaron Naylor is a stand-up comedian from Kansas City. He has performed on some of the best comedy festivals around, including San Francisco Sketchfest, 10,000 Laughs, 208, Asheville, and Limestone. He was also a finalist on season 8 of Comcast’s Trial by Laughter and was named the 2017 Funniest Person in Wichita. His stand-up has been featured on Men’s Humor, Someecards, and Comedy Juice. He has been called a “heavy-hitting superstar” by Maria Bamford and has opened for Shane Mauss, Todd Barry, and Ron Funches.

Beginner’s workshop lesson at 7:30 P.M., then 8-11 P.M. Contra Dance with Country Waltzing at the break and the final dance. This is a partner dance but it’s not necessary to come with a partner. We have different live bands and callers.
