On the first Wednesday of each month, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, we open our doors for a special community gathering where you can enjoy a cozy evening of great food, connection, and relaxation. Buffet tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

The Henderson County Curb Market, located at 221 N. Church Street in downtown Hendersonville, extends an invitation for its June Jamboree on Saturday, June 7th, from 8:00am – 2:00pm. The Market will offer live Bluegrass music by Liberty Road, a hot dog plate lunch available for purchase, a craft for Father’s Day at the children’s activity table, and a local authors’ signing. Visitors will enjoy chatting with Market vendors and shopping for produce and the many unique items created by local crafters. Fresh baked goods (including gluten free selections), free range eggs, preserves and honey will also be offered. With each purchase, a raffle ticket will be given for a chance to win a basket filled with Curb Market items donated by vendors. This is sure to be an enjoyable, relaxing day for all.

The harmonious and grounding sounds have the potential to deeply influence your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual states of being.

Come join us for a creative, healing, and inspiring morning in the beautiful gardens of Asheville Salt Cave. Learn the art of flower pounding and pressed flower design from Alicia, of Passiflora Creative. Each participant will create their own set of botanical notecards. Enjoy a guided meditation and session in the healing salt cave and herbal tea sampling. Leave feeling restored and more connected to yourself and the beauty of nature.

Looking for a buzz-worthy event? Look no further than Asheville’s 4th Annual Honey Festival! Join the Center for Honeybee Research and Shanti Elixirs on Sunday, June 8th, from 12-6pm at Highland Brewing for a day of celebration, education, and community-building.

At the festival, you’ll enjoy live music, food trucks, and vendors showcasing the unique flavors of honey and other artisanal goods. But that’s not all: you’ll also be supporting a great cause, as proceeds from the festival will go towards saving pollinators and our planet.

The Center for Honeybee Research will be offering local and international honey for guests to sample and purchase, and you can even participate in the People’s Choice award for local honey vendors. Plus, we will be featuring the live finals of the 15th Annual International Black Jar Honey competition. Festival goers can watch as local celebrities determine the world’s best-tasting honey.

And don’t forget to come dressed in your best pollinator-themed costume! It’s all part of the fun at Asheville’s 4th Annual Honey Festival.

Personal water bottles are recommended, and families are encouraged to attend. So mark your calendars for June 8th, and come out to celebrate the wonderful world of beekeeping, honey, and all things pollinators. Together, we can help save the bees!

Celebrate the Full Moon by immersing yourself with the healing vibrations of a Sound Bath! The full moon offers a boost in healing to our energy field.

Join your host Kristin Hillegas, for a one-hour Serenity Sound Bath and experience a deeply immersive, full-body sound and vibrational experience. A sound bath can cleanse your soul, restore your balance, surround you with peace and tranquility and stimulate healing.

Note: Please bring a yoga mat/pillow/blanket since you will be lying on the floor. Wear warm, comfortable, and flexible clothing.

The Sound Bath will take place upstairs in the Education Building. Choose your space starting at 6:15 PM, doors close promptly at 6:30 PM.

This session is being offered on a Sliding Scale of $10-$20.

Accessible parking is available in the Center for Spiritual Living Asheville upper parking lot. The entrance to the upper parking lot is off of S. Bear Creek Rd between Science of Mind Way and Sand Hill Rd.

Experience the transformative power of breathwork in this two-hour workshop designed to help you clear out old energy and embrace the new. As we transition into the vibrancy of spring and the expansiveness of summer, you’ll be supported to release what no longer serves you, renew your energy, and create space for new growth

The heart of the experience will be a conscious connected breathwork journey, where you will be gently guided to clear away emotional blockages, release limiting beliefs, and create space for personal rejuvenation.

This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to shed the old and step into a fresh season or chapter. You’ll leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and open to the possibilities ahead.

All levels are welcome. No prior breathwork experience needed. Must be 18+ and in good health to participate. If you are pregnant or think you may be, or have a serious, severe, or uncontrolled physical or mental health condition, this practice is strongly not recommended. A participation waiver is required. The WNC Nature Center continues roaring back to life with one of Asheville’s favorite summer traditions — Brews and Bears!

Starting Friday, May 9, from 5:30–8:00 p.m., this after-hours event invites guests to enjoy the Nature Center in the cool evening hours with live music, local food, and plenty of local brews and beverages.

The Brews and Bears Summer Series will take place on the second Friday of each month through August, and each event features a unique lineup of food trucks, musicians, and animal education programs—so no two nights are the same!

Mark your calendars! Haywood County will host the 1st Annual Smoky Mountain Yoga & Wellness Festival on June 21st right here on the Folkmoot Friendship Center campus.
